How our sheets are made

Grown by nature.
Refined for comfort.

Bamboo’s softness isn’t found — it’s made. Here’s the honest story of how a fast-growing grove becomes the coolest, silkiest sheet you’ll sleep on.

Cool to the touch

A smooth, round fiber that feels cool against your skin, so you fall asleep comfortable and stay that way.

Breathable

Air moves through the weave, so heat and humidity don’t get trapped in the bed.

Moisture-wicking

Draws moisture away from the body and releases it, for a drier, more restful night.

Silky drape

Long, smooth fibers fall softly over the mattress and get softer with every wash.

Cotton is picked.
Bamboo is refined.

Every great fabric starts somewhere different. Cotton is gathered from the field and spun as it is. Bamboo takes one more step: the plant is turned into a pure cellulose pulp, then drawn into a fine, continuous filament.

That refining is exactly why bamboo feels the way it does — smoother, cooler and more fluid than a shorter, flatter fiber can be. It isn’t a shortcut. It’s the reason the sheets feel like this.

From grove to bed

How bamboo becomes your sheets

It starts in the grove

Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants on earth. It regrows from its own root system with no replanting, needs far less irrigation than cotton, and is typically grown without pesticides.

Stalks become pulp

The bamboo is broken down into a soft cellulose pulp — the same kind of raw material behind other beloved fabrics like modal and lyocell.

Pulp is spun into fiber

The pulp is refined and drawn into a smooth, round filament. This is the step that gives bamboo its silky drape and cool feel.

Woven and tested

The fiber is woven into a 300-thread-count sateen and independently tested for harmful substances before it reaches you.

In the U.S. this fiber is called bamboo viscose (labeled “rayon from bamboo”). We’d rather tell you plainly than let a label do it for us.

About our sourcing

Care that starts before the loom

We choose our manufacturing partners as carefully as we choose our fabric. That means asking where the bamboo comes from, how it’s processed, and who checks the result.

We’d rather back what we say with independent, third-party testing than with big words on a box — so you’ll only ever see claims here that we can support.

  • OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certifiedEvery component tested for harmful substances, so the sheets are safe for the whole family.
  • Partners we knowWe work with an established manufacturing partner and review their processes ourselves, rather than buying anonymously off the shelf.
  • Packaging made to keepA rigid box you’ll reuse, so less ends up in the bin.
